I'm learning self-confidence. Not that loud, ostentatious, but quiet and deep. When you trust yourself and your heart. When the inner voice is more important than other people's expectations. My heart knows where to go, who to be with, and when to stop. And the more I listen to him, the calmer I feel. Being yourself is not scary, it's liberating.

The older I get, the more I realize how simple it really is. People love to complicate basic things so much: they turn love into a struggle, happiness into a goal, and life into an endless list of "necessities." But there is already a lot. Feeling is not difficult. Being honest is not difficult. Breathing deeply and choosing the good is also not difficult. We wind it up ourselves, we're afraid, we build walls where we could just open the door.

And one more thing, very important: you need to live now. Not tomorrow, not "when it works out," not "when I get better." Now. Because life doesn't pause. This moment is the only real one. And I choose to live it consciously, with love and gratitude. Here and now.
